Hello, and welcome to heal myself.live podcast. I'm your host. Sediqa Schuyler and today's simple and extremely, very powerful and guided meditation is on yet. Another version of forgiveness. I like to give you options. I, um, use this Hawaiian. Ancient Polynesian meditation when I'm walking or don't really have the time for a longer forgive forgiveness meditations, or when I'm just simply drained and don't have the mental capacity to think of reasons. To forgive myself or others, or I have the hardest time understanding or grasping the idea of forgiving. So this truly helps you, whether you mean it or not to send out the vibration, the frequency, the healing frequency for yourself and the others that you have a hard time forgiving. The this guided meditation is an ancient Polynesian practice of forgiveness called ho O Pono Pono. It helps people navigate hurt feelings and the feelings of resentment towards others. Ancient Polynesian beliefs were adapted in recent times by Hawaiian healers. As I was mentioning earlier to. Current day societal illnesses, such as emotional, mental, physical, and relationship problems. Um, especially mental, uh, the phrase ho oppo Pono means to set right in this case, setting things right by acknowledging one's responsibility for having caused. Seeking forgiveness and love and finally expressing gratitude. Now, um, I do this meditation sometimes even at work. I do wanna share that, uh, sometimes I have a, uh, difficult time. Uh, not only forgiving or understanding, or sometimes I get stuck into my own head trying to analyze people of why they are the way they are. So on my way to work, I play my own or other forms of ho O Pono, Pono meditation in order. To have a very peaceful, productive day for myself, and more importantly for everyone at work so that everything flows properly. for the highest good of all involved. And that's very important when you are forgiving or doing anything in life that it serves a purpose for others and yourself. So without further ado, uh, we're gonna go ahead and begin. This forgiveness meditation. Now I wanna thank you for being here and thank you for choosing to make an effort to forgive yourself and someone who has caused you pain. Forgiveness is about freeing yourself from the pain of the past. And recognizing that the resentment you are holding onto is only harming. Forgiveness is also choosing to stop feeling angry, resentful, depressed, and stressed forgiveness. Again is a form of self healing that releases all the stagnant, heavy and diseased energies that are slowing you down from experiencing your life to its fullest potential. Most importantly, you are achieving peace of mind, love and compassion by forgiving, even if you don't mean to forgive and find it difficult to do so, this meditation will still help you release a significant amount of ne negative energies. And over time with persistence practice, you'll achieve a whole state of peace and healing, even the most, um, difficult. Healing on your most, uh, almost what's may seem to our perception, a, an impossible illness to heal now. Uh, when you are ready, let's begin this process of meditation. When you are ready, take a seat in a safe, peaceful, comfortable, and quiet place. Tap the top of your head three times with your right. You are acknowledging and activating your mind, brain energy. Tap the center of your chest. With your left hand, you are acknowledging and activating your heart. Love energy centers, press the center, palms of your hands. You are acknowledging, activating the healing energy of your giving and receiving beautiful. Place your hands on your lap, uncrossed with your palms facing up. Keep your legs UN uncrossed very important so that the energy can flow and cycle properly. If you're driving, you can simply place your attention and intention on this meditation. Um, you do not obvious. You shouldn't be closing your eyes when you're driving, but if you're doing this by yourself without distraction, close your eyes. And if you're driving or walking, obviously you won't be closing your eyes. Um, Alrighty. And now let's begin. Take three deep. And through your nose and then also out through your nose, let's do the first one. Expand your belly, exhale the air out of your nose. Very slowly. Inhale. One more time. Exhale slowly through. Let's do the very last one and exhale for this activity. You may choose as many people as you would like to forgive at one time. It doesn't have to be just one person. The key to making this activity a powerful and UN effective one is to repeat the. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I thank you. I love you. So as long as you're seeing those words, I'm sorry, please forgive me. I thank you. I love you with sincerity. And you can say them silently in your mind, whisper them or speak them out loud. It doesn't matter which way what's important is to say these words with sincerity, love and trust in yourself and in the process of self healing while you are forgiving, when you're ready, imagine the person or the people you would like to. In front of you on a stage silently repeat after me or gently listen, I send you my deepest gratitude for being here. I am grateful to be here and have the courage to forgive you, to make an attempt, to forgive you and to let you go. I'm. That I'm here to forgive myself in this process and release all of my guilt, shame and suffering. This process may take me time, but today I'm here to forgive evolve. Let go release and heal. So have you, I have learned from my mistakes, at least most of them. And so can you today, I forgive you and I forgive myself. I let you go. I allow myself unconditional love, peace and freedom from pain and suffering today. I allow myself freedom from anger and depression today. I allow myself freedom from holding you responsible for my choices in suffering and in pain. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I thank. I love you. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I thank you. I love you. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I thank you. I love you today. I fill you up with peace and my love today. I fill myself with courage to accept my truth and. And love today. I heal the connected, hurt and pain in you. And in I today, I release and heal the diseased and connected chain between you and I. I forgive you and myself. I let you go. You are forgive.
